Luis De Filippis’ Debut Film ‘Something You Said Last Night’ Premieres in Toronto With Executive Producer Julia Fox

Actress Julia Fox, known for her role in Uncut Gems, joined forces with director Luis De Filippis as executive producer for her debut feature, Something You Said Last Night. This highly anticipated film, honoured with the Shawn Mendes Change Maker Award at TIFF 2022, is set to make waves after its Canadian release on July 7.

With striking cinematography by Norm Li and stellar performances from the cast, Something You Said Last Night sets a new standard for storytelling. Starring Carmen Madonia, Ramona Milano, Paige Evans, and Joey Parro, the film offers a fresh and authentic transgender story, free from clichés. Aspiring writer Ren, played by Madonia, embarks on a family vacation alongside her sister Siena, reluctantly immersing herself in an emotional journey.
