Chopard Names Jessica Chastain as Godmother of the 20th Edition Trophée Chopard Prize

Chopard has ardently supported the Cannes Film Festival throughout the years, creating the prestigious Palme d’Or prize, as well as spearheading their own Trophée Chopard award for promising filmmakers. For the 20th edition of this esteemed distinction, the Maison has tapped Cannes veteran (and S/ cover alum) Jessica Chastain to bestow this honour on two international cinematic talents. Having made her debut in 2011 for the Palme d’Or winning title The Tree of Life, Chastain also appeared as a jury member during the 2017 edition of the festival, gracing each red-carpet appearance with a sophisticated glamour par excellence. Chopard’s Co-President Caroline Scheufele is ecstatic to have the Zero Dark Thirty star on board, stating “I could not have asked for anyone better than to have Jessica Chastain, a committed actress whom I greatly admire, presiding over the grand return of the Chopard Trophy after a year’s absence, and for this anniversary.”
