S/ Was There: Inside the YSL Beauty Club Party

Last night, Yves Saint Laurent Beauty brought its Beauty Club to Toronto’s Queen Street West strip in honour of the brand’s signature Touche Éclat turning 25 this year. The YSL party concept originally kicked off in Paris, and traveled to big-name cities like Moscow, Shanghai, and Melbourne before touching down in Toronto.

Guests had the chance to win beauty goodies from the YSL 25th Anniversary Star Edition Collection thanks to a jumbo claw machine game in the lobby of the city’s historical Burroughes Building, before heading up to the 6th floor event space.

Upstairs, partygoers sipped on prosecco and YSL signature cocktails, were treated to a special DJ set by Liz Trinnear and performance by Coeur de Pirate, and could visit YSL makeup stations for touch-ups throughout the night. There was also a complimentary engraving station for guests to personalize their own Touche Éclats, lipsticks, mascaras, and more.

With a rock-chic dress code in effect, check out some of the stylish attendees at the event  in the gallery above!
