Closing out Paris fashion week—and fashion month—Chanel welcomed guests to their version of a fall wonderland, complete with bare trees and a floor covered with piles and piles of autumn leaves. As one of the always anticipated shows of the season, Chanel did not disappoint. The collection mirrored the picturesque backdrop with a palette of reds and oranges, moss and pine green, and bark brown and graphic foliage prints. Models elegantly made their way through the autumn runway in classic tweed ensembles and impressive outerwear, with a particular puffy-down jacket standing out as an early favourite and, of course, luxe accessories. Unexpected pops of colour were seen in chic fingerless pink leather gloves and on Chanel’s latest bag, the 31.
