Our 6 Favourite Style Moments From Fendi’s Fall 2018 RTW Collection

Fendi showcased its Fall/Winter 2018 womenswear collection on February 22nd in Milan by the quintessential Karl Lagerfeld and the only family member left at the Italian fashion house, Silvia Venturini Fendi. Supermodel icons such as the Hadid sisters, Kaia Gerber and Adwoa Aboah walked to “Shadows” by Chromatics. Delivering an assortment of feminine and playful staples, here are the standout fashion moments to make note of.

ALL EARS

With the iconic F stamp setting in the hoop, these square-to-hoop danglers will transform a simple outfit from borderline boring to head-turning in a pinch.

HIGH-CHIC COWBOY BOOTS

Enjoy 48 different versions of the same boot from Fendi come Fall 2018. The western-style silhouette with a double Cuban triangular heel were decked out in silk, crocodile leather, glazed checks and more.

SCARVES ARE OUT; BOXY SHOULDER SLIPS ARE IN

Scarves are fighting for their spot as the must-have fall accessory with their new competitor, the shoulder slip. Fendi showcased shoulder slips as add-ons to outerwear to redefine street-chic attitude.

EMBROIDERY IS HERE TO STAY

From graphic to ultra-femme, embroidery is making a major comeback according to Fendi. Model Adwoa Aboah finished the show with a show-stopping decorated fur cape, while other pieces like pleated silk dresses were adorned with floral decals.

FIT TO PRINT

Featured in 13 out of 22 runway looks (we’re particularly into this head-to-toe number), Fendi’s oversized checkered pattern was off the charts.

FROM INSTAGRAM TO FENDI

British graphic artist Hey Reilly became an overnight Instagram sensation and runway influencer when Fendi decided to include his graphic parody collaboration of Fila and Fendi on crewnecks.
