On November 22, Michael Kors announced the opening of its flagship store in Montreal at the corner of Sainte-Catherine and Stanley streets. The 9,000 square-foot store, housed in a beautiful historic building, includes the lines MICHAEL Michael Kors, Michael Kors Collection, and Michael Kors Mens. The flagship’s address holds a special place in the brand’s heart as Montreal was the first Canadian location for a Michael Kors store 15 years ago. “I love the energy of Montreal. The mix of cultures, personalities, and styles that you come across on a single city block is the ultimate inspiration. And the bustling art and restaurant scene in Montreal means there always something new for me to do when I visit,” reveals Kors. The large but intimate new flagship is complete with three floors, 20-foot ceilings, a private appointment showroom (AKA Michael Kors Studio 1133), and a juice bar in partnership with Rejuice! Nutrition. The store was made to feature something for everyone, no matter the speed of your shopping: “We make sure every facet of the store—the imagery, the music, the store associates—reflects the speed, energy, and optimism of our brand. It’s about luxury service and a shopping experience that can be quick if you need it to be, or leisurely and luxurious when you have time to spare,” Kors explains.
