Max Mara showcased its Spring Summer 2019 runway collection on September 20th, 2018 at Milan Fashion Week. The garments exude form and function along with a strong attitude. Max Mara continuously rewrites history with modern takes on the classics in their iconic camel, beige, and black looks. For Spring Summer, creative director Ian Griffiths welcomed a bright surprise with three head-to-toe yellow ensembles. Inspired by Margaret Atwood’s The Penelopiad, Emily Wilson’s translation of The Odyssey, and the brand’s own archives, the classic feel can be seen in the silhouettes and strong shoulders of the garments.
