The Prada Fall/Winter 2020 Womenswear collection is elegantly described as “a consideration of the strength of women, an emphasis on an inherent authority found in that which is intrinsically feminine. Rather than a negation of identity, a celebration. The agency of women.” The collection was shown in two dynamic courts that represent inside and outside comprised of fake sets and located inside part of the Fondazione Prada complex. The runway weaved between both courts, making models appear and disappear and drawing the fashion back to the created scenes. The collection mixes masculine and feminine workwear, sheer dresses shown over athletic pieces, and floral appliqués adorned on matching sets for a joyful dose of variety.
