Fashion powerhouses Coach & Rodarte have teamed together to create one seriously chic limited edition collection. Ahead of the much-anticipated release, lucky guests such as Coach ambassador Chloe Grace Moretz and Selma Blair got to preview the collection at an intimate dinner hosted by Musso & Frank Grill in Hollywood. The collaboration has the perfect mix of L.A and New York vibes, capturing the Rodarte sisters’ dreamy Californian aesthetic and Coach’s Manhattan cool and legacy of fine leather. Rodarte designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy and Coach’s Stuart Vevers got together to create the 39-piece capsule collection, which offers a range of delicately embellished and sequin floral-adorned bags, dresses, and biker jackets; all are destined to become statement pieces in any wardrobe. The Mulleavy sisters also found inspiration in the Coach archives; the slogan ‘This is a Coach Bag,’ found in Coach advertisements from the 1970s, adorns the capsule’s quirky T-shirts, sweaters and bags. The collection will hit Coach.com on April 12, and select international stores April 14.
