Estée Lauder’s Bronze Goddess Collection Smells Like Summer

There are a few beauty collections we patiently wait months for to land on beauty counters year after year. They become tradition, and often mark a new season. Case in point: Estée Lauder’s latest Bronze Goddess fragrance and makeup collection that dropped earlier this month, and immediately makes us yearn for the hot summer weather ahead with just one glance and whiff.

The beach-inspired line of glow-enhancing makeup and body products that conjure the intoxicating sensation of shimmering waters and sun-soaked sand, has gained a major cult following over the years since launching back in 2006. Safe to say that’s largely due to beauty addicts waiting in anticipation to find out what limited-edition beauty treasures Estée Lauder has added to its annual collection.

Bronze Goddess Eau Fraîche SkinScent, $92 (100 ml); Bronze Goddess Shimmering Oil Spray for Hair and Body, $55; Bronze Goddess Whipped Body Crème, $61; Limited Edition Illuminating Powder Gelée, $55; Summer Lip Glow in Sunlit Nude and SunBlush, $34 each, esteelauder.ca.

This year’s Bronze Goddess launches include a deeper version of the iconic Bronze Goddess Eau Fraîche, a solar floral spritz that reminds us of sun-warmed skin, the classic powder bronzer and whipped body butter, a new exfoliating sea salt body scrub, a super-luminous all-over pearl highlighter, two sheer lip-enhancing shades, a conditioning hair and body oil, and more. With 2017 marking the collection’s 11-year anniversary, Estée Lauder has also given the makeup and fragrance line a chic makeover, with vanity-worthy packaging featuring rich, golden-fluted metal with touches of turquoise inspired by the Riviera.

With an eye-catching spectrum of bronze and metallic shades, the makeup is perfect for recreating the glory sun-kissed skin trends seen on the Missoni, Bottega Veneta and Blumarine runways, while the scent of the body products transports you to a dreamy far-flung locale (airfare not required).
